Mamblog 1.0 Stable soon to be released PDF Print E-mail
Written by Olle Johansson

MamblogI've now fixed all known bugs in Mamblog and added a couple of small features and I'm now confident that it is stable enough for a stable 1.0 release very soon.

It will be released as soon as I've had it thoroughly tested to make sure there are no lingering bugs left.

Read on to find out about what changes has been made.

Bugs fixed:

  • Small problem with WysiwygPro introduced in Mambo 4.5 1.0.7 fixed.
  • Links to user blogs are made by username instead of the real name.
  • Archiving in Mambo administrator now makes items archived on the frontpage as well.
  • A viewing bug in Internet Explorer should be fixed.
  • XHTML cleanup.
  • Added security updates available in Mambo 4.5 1.0.7.

New features

  • Users can now delete their own blog entries on the edit page.
  • If the count is less than the number of entries shown, a link to all entries is added below the list.
  • Users now get a link to their own blog list in the user menu. (The component will need to be re-installed for this to be added automatically, if you are updating see the readme for info on how to add it yourself.)

Now requires Mambo 4.5 Stable 1.0.7

Because of added security functions used which were introduced in the latest release of Mambo 4.5 it is now a requirement to use the latest version of Mambo 4.5 for Mamblog to work.
