Custom Development

Due to taking on a full-time job as a Systems Architect, I'm not available for custom development anymore.

I'm planning on keeping my extensions updated as well as adding new features. For people interested in custom development for my extensions you could ask on the Support Forum. If I can't help, someone else might be able to.

MamblogIt's finally here, a new version of Mamblog with bug fixes, a couple of new configuration options as well as several new language files. Hopefully there will be a new version with lots of new functionality coming up later on as well.

There is also a maintenance release of Jobline which fixes a couple of things relating to Joomla!

Read on for more information on the releases.

Mamblog v1.0

It's finally here, the stable version of the user blog component Mamblog! This release includes lots of bug fixes as well as a couple of new configuration options and several language files. It now also officially supports Mambo v4.5.2.3 as well as Joomla! It's now possible to turn off the wysiwyg html editor in Mamblog even when it's turned on in Mambo/Joomla! and you can change the width and height of the wysiwyg editor from the configuration page. It's also possible to select whether username or real name should be used when viewing blog entries.

N.B. This release haven't been extensively tested, but as it includes fixes for the most problematic bugs relating to newer versions of Mambo/Joomla I've decided to release it as it is instead of waiting until I've been able to test it more thoroughly.

Jobline v1.1.1

This is just a maintenance release which includes fixes for a wysiwyg editor bug in Joomla! v1.0.3 as well as new wysiwyg html editor handling which allows the administrator to turn off the html editor and set width and height of the editor box.

Thanks a lot. Been waiting for the Mamblog update for ages.

Sounds a bit
shameless that we want you to keep updating and providing us new features in
mamblog and yet we also don't want it to pay. Free and open source has got users
into the habit of expecting "good yet free" software. :grin
Maybe you
should carry ads on the site to try and monetize Momblog in a way.

I haven't had the time to update it to work properly with Joomla 1.5 yet, but I
should be able to have a release available for the stable release of Joomla 1.5.

I'd love to be able to use jRevies for rating and commenting on mamblog
entries.

Any chance of that in the future?

Cheers!
