Custom Development

Due to taking on a full-time job as a Systems Architect, I'm not available for custom development anymore.

I'm planning on keeping my extensions updated as well as adding new features. For people interested in custom development for my extensions you could ask on the Support Forum. If I can't help, someone else might be able to.

Recently I've been busy with work and haven't had a lot of time to keep this site updated. The good news is that I soon will have several components and modules available for release.

Components

These components are being beta tested at the moment and will be released when they are deemed stable.

  • Jobline - A component developed for a client that allows users of your site to publish jobs and receiving job applications. This component has now been release, read more about Jobline here.
  • MX Directory - A links/information directory component developed for a client which includes all features of the standard weblinks component but with several useful extras such as extra fields and multi-level categories. Also supports SEF Advance for neat SEF links.
  • vBulletin 3 User Integration - A simple vBulletin integration is being tested and will be released soon.

Modules

These are modules I've written recently but haven't had time to release yet but will soon be released.

  • MX Links - Rewrite of my old links module, now supports more features and works with MX Directory as well as the standard Mambo links component.
  • MX Show Users - A module to list users in different ways. Can show users with most written content items, by registration date, alphabetically and more. Can link to latest content item or the users blog in Mamblog.
  • MX Latest Commented - List content items that have been commented on recently. Supports AkoComment and ComboLITE/ComboMAX.

And more!

I've also made extensions to the components Zoom Image Gallery and AkoComment that I probably will send to the authors of those components.

The changes to AkoComment include the possibility to use it with 3rd party components if they support it. This makes it possible to use commenting on items in Mamblog without having to show them with Mambos content script. I've also fixed the list of comments in the administrator to make it look a bit better.

For Zoom I've added the possibility to let users have their own galleries automatically created.

Thanks a lot for your development!
I would like to suggest making
"jobline" more open, i believe it could be a sweet solution as a
Secondhand-Deals Paltform with mostly the same code. Would be great if you code
it that way
In any case thanks a lot

Georg

I have no plans to change the direction of Jobline at the moment, it is released
as it is. It is however possible to change it somewhat by changing the language
file. As for what types of fields that are available I will probably not change
that for the future either.

I do however have a much more advanced component
planned which will be very open where it will be possible to change what types
of fields to be used for items as well as changing the appearence etc.

If i try to administrate it i got this!
Whats wrong?

SELECT c.*, u.name AS
editor
FROM mos_jl_jobposting AS c
LEFT JOIN mos_users AS u ON u.id =
c.checked_out
WHERE state = -2
ORDER BY c.created DESC
DB function failed
with error number 1052
Spalte: 'state' in where clause ist mißverständlich.
SQL=SELECT c.*, u.name AS editor FROM mos_jl_jobposting AS c LEFT JOIN mos_users
AS u ON u.id = c.checked_out WHERE state = -2 ORDER BY c.created DESC

component was created for PICnet by Olle Johansson
