All functionality of the Property Builder is finished and we are hard at work finding the last little bugs. Property Builder will not be released for free as many of my other modules, it was created on commission for a customer. I am setting up a demo site for the component so that you can see how it works and I will add a link from here as soon as it is finished.

Haven't had time to write lately, but I've been busy at work with the new PropertyBuilder component. There are only some small things left before this component is finished.

The user blog component formerly know as BoxBlog has been released in a new version to fix a problem with using it on Mambo 3.5 beta 1.0.3.

I was asked if I could release my Newsletter component, so I took some time off of the real estate component which I'm working on to package the component.

Today I released a second alfa version of the user blog component BoxBlog. This is only a maintenance release to fix some problems users has had. A new version with some changes will hopefully be released this weekend because next week I need to start working on a new commissioned component.

I have now almost completed the commissioned user blog component and almost all functionality is implemented. Installation is completely automatical and the install script sets everything up for you and once installed users can start writing blogs. There is also two admin pages, one with some information and one to change all of the many configuration settings. The admin can also view all written blogs from the normal Content section in the administrator page.

I've just installed a pre alfa version of the new user blog component here on Mambo at the Yard.

While updating the blog component to work with Mambo 4.5 I had to find out how the new database class works to try and make use of that as much as possible. This resulted in the removal of almost all prior code in the component since I could make use of the functions already existing in the database class. This update was quite slow however, since I had to find out how the class worked by myself so late last night I started writing on a tutorial on how to use this class to share my new found knowledge.

Today I did some work on the BoxBlog component and updated all current scripts to work with Mambo Open Source 4.5.

The Blog component that I started working on some time ago has been commissioned as a Mambo Open Source 4.5 component so I will start working on it soon.
