I didn't find any info for migrator plugin for Jambook. Is there such a plugin?

Or is it just that simple that backup Jambook database tables (J! 1.0.15) and restore them to a new site (J! 1.5.7) and install a new version of Jambook?

My Jambook version is 1.0 beta8 and going to install the latest version.

php 5.2.6
mysql 4.1.22
PHP interface cgi-fcgi

There is no migrator plugin for Jambook.

Your assessment of the migration is correct. Just restore the tables and install the component.

I'll look into creating migrator plugins for my components though.

Thanks. Migration went just fine and smoothly. I did changed the collation for a few database table fields (or what ever they are called) from swedish_something to utf_8_general_ci. It seemed that JB would work either way.

And thanks for Jambook. I like it, my users like it. Very easy to use, very simple.

Hi,
Okay, that was less scary than I thought... and it worked out quite alright.

But I have a little problem, the layout seems to give some trouble in Joomla! 1.5 (www.vanderblij.net) AND the captcha image is not shown! (I don't know what it is supposed to look like so I don't know what else is missing, it all just looks odd).

Anybody any tips? Should I alter anything in the tables???

Tak sa mucket!
Chris
