I have Joomla 1.5.14, i have installed everything fine, but my links in the articles now are displayed like this:

They are not getting the article title and link and are not sharing them. Any ideas how to fix this ?

The current version requires javascript to run. Make sure that the javascript for the plugin is loaded and that there are no errors.

I have the same problem. My URL's are not being filled in and despite I selected "new window" every icon opens in the same window.

I don't understand your solution when you say "Make sure the javascript for the plugin is loaded". What do I need to do for this to be loaded? How can I check this?

Installation was without any errors.

At the top, in the head section, there should be a "<script>" tag with a link to the jxsharelink.js file.

It should look like this:

If you don't have that on the page with the icons there is some sort of bug. You could try to temporarily turn off the cache in Joomla and see if that helps. It would also be a help if you could turn on displaying of javascript errors in your browser. If the script doesn't manage to add the link properly there should be some sort of error showing. Possibly down in the corner of the browser.

so that looks right. I cleared my cache and checked the cache-settings; they were already turned off. Just now I found out that this %%URL%%-problem only occurs when I select "Drop-down In Buttonheading" in the backend. To me it looks like it is a bug after all. I hope you can look into it. The buttonheading is a bit tricky, since it is very reliant on the template you are using. Although, I don't really see why the links should stop working.

I need to know a bit more information to be able to help you. Which versions of Joomla, PHP and your browser are running, and which template are you using.

There also has to be a javascript error when this happens, or when the page loads. I need to know this, otherwise I'd be flying completely blind.

PHP: 5.2.8
Browser: Google Chrome 4.0 (but problem with Buttonheading also occurs in FF 3.6)

In IE 8 the icon dropdown doesn't work at all (with none of the available options). IE prints these errors in the browser status bar:

Could there be a conflict between these two javascripts? Strange that IE8 doesn't display anything at all.
