One of the problems is that I'm new so If I don't ask the question right please bear with me.

I have already uninstalled Mamblog once because I could never get an answer to my question. I have Joomla 1.5 and I installed mamblog 1.0 and got this error.

You need to chmod this to 766 in order for the config to be updated.

I checked both my joomla config and the mamblog config and made sure they were both set to permissions of 766 from 755 and I'm still getting the same error. It's as if I never did anything.

I can't get past this part of the installation.

I would very much appreciate a reply.
