Is there anyway to limit the number of characters a user is allowed to type within the Entry field?

HELLO??? Is there anybody out there?
I am hoping to get this question answered but does not seem to be any developer monitoring this Support forum as I have not received a single reply.

Is there anyway to limit the number of characters a user is allowed to type within the Entry field?

The maximum length is 65,535 characters.

This did not answer my question.
Is there anyway to limit the max length - I only want users to be able to write a max. of 120 characters - is there anyway to do this?
