Jobline is adding several "/" in quotes characters when a apostrophe "'" in quotes is used. So bachelor's becomes bachelor////////'s.

Also trying to add links in the backend text area is adding the same / to the front and back of the link.

I really need to figure out how to add a link in the description or the how to apply section for a download of a official job application.
Are there any workarounds to jobline adding characters to <a heref links

Also jobline is stripping or changing characters when editing templates from the backend. However when editing templates from my control panel everything is fine

any contraction with an apostrophe inserts this character several times //////

This is a significant problem.

If you're the only person making entries, you can fix this by using &quo; for double quotes, &lsquo; for left single quotes and apostrophes, and &rsquo; for right single quote.

However, i imagine the majority of the people who use this component are not the only people entering in events. I know that some users modify the language file to easily turn the program into a comment system, in which case, the method of getting rid of the quotes that i listed above in this post would not be realistic.

Will someone find the reason it puts the slashes in? (i imagine its php trying to escape it and doing it wrong somewhere but i can't find it)

I've heard that php can replace characters, but I haven't learned how to do this yet, does someone know where or how that could work with jobline?

I'd sure appreciate any help in this regards, our site is about to go live, and we have 3+ data entry personnel. I would consider making it worth someones while to fix this bug asap.

worthwhile would be something determined between the provider and myself... if the provider has a particular number in mind for the information, I would consider paying that... as long as the product works well.
